INTRODUCTION

The Directorate of AYUSH is a Government body under department of Medical Education (AYUSH) in Chhattisgarh Government. This Directorate was established in Year 2000 with the inception of Chhattisgarh State. Beginning from 1 Government Ayurveda Medical College under its belt, the Directorate now has administration of 2 Government Ayurveda Medical Colleges and 9 Private AYUSH Colleges (6 Ayurveda, 1 Homeopathy, and 2 Naturopathy & Yoga).
The primary responsibility of the Directorate is making Infrastructure, Equipment,drugs and other essentials along with human resources available to run the Government Colleges/Hospitals. In addition to day to day sorting of administrative problems related to these Institutions, the Directorate has the task of Counseling of Students for these institutions for admissions.

“The BAMS/BHMS Stray Vacancy Round-2 allotment list and waiting lists are uploaded on this website. If any seat remains vacant, the seats will be filled by candidates from the waiting list on the same day according to their merit and choices. So candidates in waiting list are instructed to report at Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College, Raipur on 24.11.2025 between 10AM to 12 PM. Any reporting after schedule time will not be entertained at any ground.”

“Two seats of Raigarh Medical College and Hospital of Ayurveda, Kotarliya, Raigarh became vacant due to withdrawal of two admitted students. Counselling for these two seats will be held on 01-12-2025 from waiting list of Raigarh Medical College and Hospital of Ayurveda, Kotarliya, Raigarh. So the candidates are instructed to report at Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College, Raipur on 01-12-2025 between 10 AM to 12 PM.”
